Well, it looks like the boys and girls over at the offtopic forums discovered my "Internet Kitty" pictures and showed them to all of thier friends. This was waaaay to much bandwidth and I ran out of bandwidth on June 27th. Just in time for the end of the month. I was also hit by xanga, blogspot, stumbleupon, thepetmenagerie forum, and myspace accounts. I was not expecting this kind of attention at all. I am not even sure who took all of those pictures.

I can do a few things:
- Change all the images to something else
- Pay for more bandwidth myself
- Put up advertising on the most popular sites to help pay for the extra bandwidth
- Breakup the pages to relieve some stress (which I was quickly able to do)

I'll have to think about it. But I have looked at my website logs for the last three months, and it seems that the "Internet Kitty" page is becoming my biggest hit. The hits to that page just keep increasing. I fear that I may be farked, /.'d, dug, or something else. One thing is for sure, the popularity of that page will keep increasing and not decrease.

I am very impressed that some little site that I built has attaracted this much attention. I just uploaded cute things I have found so that I could show them to my Wife. I guess if you have made it here, take a look around some of the other area's of this site. I use this domain mainly for image hosting, and ebay image hosting.

I intend to upload more cool things that I like to this site when I find the time and motivation. Come back in a month and see what is different. (Probably not much)

Well. I Guess I should put this website back to the way it was.
On July 23rd, 2005. I got married to my fiancee. And changed the layout of the site to reflect our wedding photo image gallery. By doing this I could allow her family in the Philippines to view our wedding photo's, all of them, without needing to send negatives across the pacific ocean. Oh yes, the photo gallery is still hosted on this webspace. I think I will take out the movies section, and replace it with a photo gallery. Photo Gallery

This past weekend I had the great pleasure of cleaning up a co-workers computer. Not only was this computer filled with 800 pieces of spyware, it also had CWS on it..woo.. It took quite a while to clean up the whole thing.

Also the windows update feature was broken, whenever I clicked on "INSTALL NOW" nothing would happen, absolutely nothing. I had to go and install every single update by searching downloading and installing.

Somehow all the spyware had messed up the SAM file that holds all the Windows 2000 password login information.
Now I know this: If you have an Windows NT based OS you can crack the password using l0phtcrack. But if you have a Windows 2000 Pro (SP3 or SP4 ), Windows XP, or Windows 2003 you cannot just crack the SAM file because it is encrypted. So instead of trying to crack it, you have to wipe the password out. (I didn't find a program that would break the encryption yet)

Through all my troubles I received 2 valuable things for it
1.) $100.00
2.) Discovery of a Windows XP boot disc that will wipe the password on encrypted files (IFS). Not only does this disc wipe passwords, it also has "dosshell" for file management and a whole host of other very useful utilities. I'll go find it and post the link here later.

Want to throw that computer out the window?

This is what you do:
1.) Download Adaware
2.) Download Spybot
3.) Download Microsoft Antispyware
4.) Install all three mentioned above, update all mentioned above, run all three mentioned above
5.) Buy Norton Antivirus
6.) Install, update, run Norton Antivirus
7.) Update and run these 4 programs once a week.

I should make a guide for you when the above still fails to get rid of spyware / viruses. Maybe later. I am still at work, and have alot of stuff to do this weekend.

On a fresh installation of windows XP if you want to remove windows messenger goto
START -> RUN -> Type:
"RunDll32 advpack.dll,LaunchINFSection %windir%\INF\msmsgs.inf,BLC.Remove"
